What happens after I place an order?

Once you have placed an order online or over the phone, you should receive a confirmation email. Upon the delivery of your gift, you will also receive a delivery confirmation email. The delivery confirmation email indicates that your order was successfully delivered.

How do I know my delivery has been successfully made?

All delivery updates and successful delivery confirmations are sent via email. If you prefer to be notified by phone or text, please specify when placing your order online or call us at (949)464-0509.

What do you do when a delivery attempt is made and the recipient is not home?

We assess each delivery situation on an individual basis. If the delivery location looks safe with a protected area to keep the bouquet shaded and away from the elements, we will leave it there and follow up with a phone call or text message to the recipient. If we are unable to leave it at the residence, our next step is to try to leave it with a neighbor. If both these options are unavailable we then leave a tag on the recipients door letting them know we were by with a special delivery. We ask that they call us to arrange a new delivery or they may come to our shop and pick up their bouquet.

Why am I asked to provide the recipient's phone number when placing an order online or over the phone?

We understand almost all floral deliveries are meant to surprise someone special and that is why we try to never call the recipient ahead of time. But in some cases and to ensure your gift is delivered in time, we may need to contact the recipient. For example, if the recipient lives in a gated community which requires prior notice or a code for our drivers to enter.

Another common scenario is when the recipient is not home at the time of delivery which requires us to follow up via phone or text message.

Do you ship or hand-deliver the floral arrangements?

Our store never ships any products. We personally deliver your gifts to your loved ones using our professionally trained floral drivers.

What time will my gift be delivered?

There are several delivery trips that go out throughout the day. Depending upon when the order comes in and the product request, we will send it out on the earliest possible delivery trip on your requested delivery date.

Is the arrangement in the photo exactly what will be delivered?

Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner. The utmost care and attention is given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item.

In arrangements of assorted flowers, the colors shown online will be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind flower arrangements, such as all roses or all lilies, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. If the floral container shown online is not available, a similar container will be used.

For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. If the plant container shown online is not available, a similar container will be used.

How will my flowers arrive?

All fresh flower arrangements are hand delivered, not shipped in a box. This means they will actually arrive professionally designed in a vase, unless specified not to. Our professional and well-trained drivers do an excellent job of getting each and every gift delivered in a timely manner.

Can you deliver my bouquet during an exact time?

We are usually able to guarantee any delivery time requests, when 1 hour delivery window is provided. Due to unexpected circumstances such as weather and traffic, we are unable to guarantee that your delivery will arrive at the exact time requested

Can I change or cancel my order?

Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. If you desire to make changes to a future delivery order, please contact us at your earliest convenience at (949)464-0509. We normally do our best to accommodate cancellations and changes. However, if your gift is en route or delivered, we will be unable to cancel the order.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit cards including American Express are accepted online, over the phone or in store.

Can I use my gift card to place an order for someone else?

Absolutely. You may use Laguna Beach Florist gift card online, over the phone or in store to make a purchase for yourself or someone else.

My order is being delivered to a business. What time will it arrive?

All business deliveries are made by 5pm. If for some reason the recipient works odd hours or leaves before 5pm, please let us know. We will make every effort to meet your request. However time requests are not guaranteed. Feel free to contact us with any special delivery requests and we can discuss the options further. For business deliveries, we recommend placing your order at least the day before.

Is in-store pick up available for orders purchased online?

Yes, simply select "In-Store Pick up" under Delivery Method at checkout.

Where do your flowers and plants come from?

Our fresh flowers and plants come from local wholesalers who buy straight from the growers based in West Coast.

Why does the price of the flowers go up during holidays?

Like other agriculture markets, the prices of products are largely dictated by supply and demand. For example, for Valentine’s Day, on average, more than 100 million roses are sold nationwide. Growers start on their rose crops after Christmas and require additional labor at all levels of production. Since the holiday falls in the middle of winter there are higher heating costs, and because of the volume of roses additional transportation and delivery are also needed. Each of these factors contributes to the proportionate cost of flowers during Valentine’s and other major floral holidays
